I am officially all moved and settled into my new home.. I just love it here.. I can run all around the house and run up and down the stairs.. I have a great big back yard but my mom and dad need to completely fence it in.. I WILL not run away.. but they get nervous and want me safe always...My mom and dad also got a pool for the yard.. but I can tell you right now I dont CARE! I hate water and all that is accociated with it.. Water makes me craxy.. Even on the very hottest of hot days I will not get wet if I can helo it..

Anyhow I have a few pics of me in my new home.. my mom needs to help me keep up with the posts... OK well here are a few pics....

I had the Best time today! I have two new friends Vegas and Cesar!!! They are brother and sister and look alot alike... We played so well together. Cesar is a handsome guy! Umm, I think he like me too! I saw him wink at me a few times.. Oh wait that might have been the sun... hehehe I played for over an hour and I could have played longer but mom and dad needed to get home to watch a football game.. I came in and rested on the couch until 5pm!!!!! I just came in from playing outside with my mommy.. She was taking some more pictures of me. Well here are some pictures of my new friends!!!! Been a while I know... sowwy... I have been busy :)

I am so excited I will be playing with new friends today.. Vegas and Cesar.. They look just like me! Flashy Fawns.. I cant wait ! I will definantly post pics of my playdate!

I miss my boyfriend Jones tho.. His mommy had a baby in Aug and I am waiting patiently for the right time to see him AND his new skin bro! I hope all is well with him..

My mommy and Daddy are in the process of buying a new home for me! They say its alot of work but I will be very happy in the end.. I hear its gonna be before the snow flies but we never know.. I like my home now but I know they will be happier with something bigger and better for me.. and this time it will be the best ever! I will write more in a bit but for now enjoy my new black and white photos :) Oh yeah, Tumbles is in one only because I "let" him hahaha.. I was watching for my daddy to pull in and he just happened to be in my way.. My mom like it so ok ,,, I guess I do too!

Been a while since I have been here to update you all!!! But Ihave been just having so much fun in my new home.. here are some great shots of me in my new yard !!!! I know I should be giving you all updates on a regular basis but I cant find alot of time to do it.. my mom and dad are real busy too.. They are trying to buy a home and I guess that keeps them distracted and busy too.. Working thing for mom isnt something I am getting used to but I know she likes her job and she buys me treats and toys every week.... I have a playdate today with my love Jones !!!! did I mention how handsome he is?? I will have some more pictures when we come back later today !!

I am adjusting to my new home so well.. My new schedule is working out for me.. I play most of the day and rest whenever I feel the need.... ahhhhhh..... I have some really neat pictures of me with my newest toy.. Its a donut with pink frosting and sprinkles... These pics are black and white but you get the idea.... I fell asleep after a while from all the play.....................

Im eating good and I spend quality time with my mom and dad and Kendyl.. I'm still missing my lil bro very much though.. I think he would have liked the new house as well.. there is so much to do... but I'm feeling a lil sad when no one wants to play with me.. My tennis ball seems to do the job when I want to chase something...

The nicer weather is coming up quick and I will be outside more, making plans and playdates with my good friend Jones! I miss him.. ok, well I am off for now because I need to get my playtime in with mommy before she goes to work... (she mentioned new toys with this new job and she wasnt kidding :)

ok, Sad time for all of us now that my lil bro isnt around anymore.. He had an accident and was taken from us way too soon!! I loved him so much.. My family will not be the same without him but we are doing our best to stay focused and positive.. I LOVE my new home and I LOVE the fact that I can now run around the house and not run into a wall every step since this is a much bigger and nicer place to live! We are far away from the street and the cars arent going highway speed...

My yard is huge and I can run around without worry about trash in my way or wondering if a nail will catch my paw.. AHHHH The Life......

SO, with saying that, I am settling in to my new home and doing quite well getting into a routine I like alot... My mom and dad seem happy and Kendyl seems to be the happiest... now she can go back to the school she is happy at and leave the other place behind like a bad dream!!! I am slowly forgetting it myself! YEY !!!!!!!!! Here are some pics of me during the move last weekend... I was a little lost in the shuffle but mom and dad got me a HUGE bone to relax with... Thanks guys....

Oh BTW - just a footnote: I have another lil bro - but he is a cat.. YUK PEEEEUUUU!!!! but he seems cool, because he doesnt take my crap.. lol he doesnt have claws so he doesnt hurt when he swats me lol but I can assure you that the back claws do not tickle... LMPO!!!

Ok, now I know things are happening because mom and dad have been extremely busy packing and getting organized... things are coming off the walls, things are dissappearing into boxes... but yet they seem happy VERY happy.... so ok, I am too :) there is a HUGE yard where they bring boxes and I have been playing there at the new place and I think this is our new home... but we still come here (old home) into our crates and sleep. The ride wasnt fun because we were IN our crates IN the truck... ?????? That was different and Madden barked and cried the whole way.... he is such a sissy... at least thats what Daddy calls him... (and I agree totally)!!

We got to play in the snow (there was more snow at the new place) YEY !!! and we explored all the new smells.. Just cannot wait for mommy and daddy to be settled so we can all enjoy our new home! until we are settled I will post again with new pictures of us! until then BYE !!! How random................................the pic of me smelling the grass.. Oh well.. my mom had a reason! lmpo!

Just want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year from the GYLES Family... Mom and Dad seem very happy to start off a new year on a positive note.. Im not too happy just yet because my mommy is starting a new job for a few hours a day which means Im going to miss her very much.. She was talking to me about it yesterday and I was a little somber.. I didnt want to hear it but she seemed happy about it.. I will be in my crate for the time she is gone and she told me think of it as if I was napping as normal and she was just upstairs.. but I will know she is gone because I will here that truck of hers start up and she will drive off.. Madden is either pretending not to care too much or he really isnt effected.. I miss my mommy when she hops into the shower so you know this will be tough !!!! ... SO.... today is her first day and MY first day without her with me.. I am so sad.. but she assures me this means more toys for us.. I LIKE THAT !!!! I will just close my eyes when she leaves and Kendyl will be here in no time to let us out free!! she is our new BEST FRIEND !! hehehe lmpo... ok Im going to go play now while I can! BYE !!!!

WE ARE SOOOOO FREE !!!! Boy, Mom and Dad didnt waste any time taking down the "stuff".. Trust me Im not complaining and I dont think Madden cares either.. That tree was in our running space and was looking p r e t t y sad.. (I would never tell mommy that tho.. she worked hard getting it to look nice..) anyhow the house is back to normal and she mentioned a new year coming and how great it will be.. (she also mentioned something called snow) but I havent had the chance to see it or play in it yet.. I dont like the cold too much so we will just have to see how it goes.. and I also hope they get nicer coats for us instead of those very ehem colorful windbreakers.. Im a navy blue girl and Madden to seems like he would look nice in red.. but we'll see... Its Christmas vaca from school and I have yet to play with Kendyl.. she has been at her friends house for 2 days. HMMM, think she will today.. I miss her. Welp, it is Xmas time of the yr.. My mom and dad got a tree.. I gave her a hard time getting the ornaments up and lights and garland.. but she assured me I was NOT to touch it once it was up RELSE !!! So, I have been good so far, very tempting...

They also went out and bought us "windbreakers" at first I thought it was Halloween, or maybe a parade I needed a costume for or just a plain ole joke! but nope.. they thought it was CUTE.. and here we are.. Dont you dare laugh... They hung them in the closet ofter trying it on us and I hope they forget its in there.. U_G_L_Y !!!!! Anyhow.. I hope you enjoy the pics..

OK it is finally official! my lil bro isnt my lil bro anymore.. he has finally passed me in weight.. BUT - I will have you know I am still the alpha and ALWAYS WILL BE.. (I keep telling myself this) .. He is 44 lbs and I am 42 lbs.. its only 2 lbs but still.. Its official.. I knew it would happen but I didnt think it would be this soon!! My daddy is very excited for him.. says he is still his lil guy tho.. Im ok with it I guess...

My mommy went out this past weekend and bought us some new toys.. She got the cheapo kind that lasts only an hour or so but they are the best because I tear them apart.. She got a ladybug and a crab... and some kind of link ring thingy Madden liked - OH and both my mommy and daddy got us a new green cuz.. this one is HUGE !!!! and makes a different squeak than the smaller one.. gives my daddy a headache.. lmpo... Here are a few pics of us with our new toys while some lasted :) OH and the effects of what the house looks like when we are done playing! poor mommy needs to clean it all up.. she doesnt mind that much I dont think, as long as we dont break anything!!!

Boy did I have a great day yesterday playing.. I am still a little tired.. I slept all day yesterday when we got home and when it was time for bed I didnt even have the strength to have mommy and daddy chase me around the bed to get into my crate for the night.. I just went right in.. I saw mommy's face light up and it was just the perfect ending to a perfect day...

NOW, I am slowly getting my energy back and Madden is ready to go.. Since we have the "you know... the GATE" I plan to hang outside for a while with my lil bro... then Kendyl will come home from her half day of school and play with us more if she is feeling better, she has a cough.. but for now I am being good (Madden too) ... more later....

I am SO HAPPY ! Today we got to play with my good friend Jones! Not only is he fun to play with and run around with but he is extremely handsome!!! I wish the winter weather wasnt coming because I could see myself playing with him alot more! Madden is cool, but he is my lil bro.. and he tends to get on my nerves quick.. but JONES !! he is something else.. and I like his mom and dad too; they bring treats and toys and bottles of cold water to drink... my lil bro is getting real big and he is now keeping up with the chase me game.. I heard some say that Madden will be bigger than me and Jones.. I am pretty sure he will, so we need to box him around now while we can LMPO !!!

I dont get it.. things were wonderful before.......THE GATE !!! It was a perfect night too.. Daddy came home.. I beaned him a bit.. mommy was cooking supper and Madden and I begged as usual.. I occasionally pee downstairs (where I have since day of of my arrival) and NOW THIS?? I heard them saying something about a gate.. I didnt think much of it.. then they left and came back with a huge box and daddy was busy all of a sudden.. THEN there it was, a cut off to all that I know and love.. no more running up and down the stairs off the office.. no more pee'ing on my favorite hall.. no more dropping my cuz and seeing it tumble all the way down so I can then slam Madden into the wall on each step to chase it.. I feel like my life has been taken away.. why does mommy seem thrilled... SO, of course I needed to go pee and poopie.. so what do I do.. sit at the gate looking at my stairs with my eyes watering.. THEN, I remembered the door with the bell.. so I gave in and rang it.. and to my surprise I was let outside quickly and mommy kept saying GOOD GIRL !!!!! I liked it!!! but here is a couple of videos of me and my bro trying to pull at some heartstrings.. didnt work.. she just sat there... Im not good with change but Madden seems to cry about it lol I tried to lick my way through... here it is....

Happy morning.. RAIN RAIN RAIN!!! Its so crappy out.. but I heard from Madden that its supposed to be a nice weekend.. (he saw it on the morning news).. So we have gone 4 days of indoor play.. and I am starting to get a little grouchy... or I could just sleep away the day and cross my paws for sun tomorrow.. Im kinda tired now so Im gonna go and curl up on the couch and rest.. YAWN...

OK HERE WE ARE !!! With my mommy and Daddy! Are they great or what! ok here is the deal my name is Dakota and I am a "flashy fawn" My lil bro Madden is a "brindle" with a black mask.. he looks real mean at times but dont worry he is a big wimp.. I keep him in line.. He is almost as big as me now and he Im sure will be 4 times my size since he is only 5 months now.. I have a few month on him but I am quite petite :) My daddy uses the term "tank" when mentioning Madden.. I just dont see it..
